Free unpacking, consolidation and outer-box reinforcement strip out redundant packaging to cut volumetric weight. Track it end to end after dispatch, with full compensation if anything is lost.
Four steps: each parcel is weighed on arrival for actual weight; length × width × height is converted to volumetric weight using the divisor for your carrier channel; the larger of the two becomes the billed weight; after items are consolidated into one box it is reweighed, billed on the larger of box weight and box volume. Light bulky goods — down jackets, bedding — often weigh more by volume than in reality, which is exactly why consolidating and compressing pays off. We quote the channel divisor and rate together so you can check it yourself.
It depends on category and destination. A consolidated box usually occupies far less volume than the same items shipped separately, and vacuum compression reduces it further — how much depends on the goods, and we estimate against your actual items. Experience suggests light bulky goods save the most; dense goods save less proportionally, though merging into one box usually removes an extra handling and sorting charge as well.
