Youmanman Parcel Forwarding — Service Facts and Billing Rules
Youmanman Parcel Forwarding: order from Taobao, JD, Pinduoduo or 1688 and ship it home. Parcels are checked and photographed on arrival, with 90 days free storage from the first parcel. Consolidation cuts repeated first-weight and outer packaging.
How freight is calculated: weigh it, then compare actual and volumetric weight
This is the rule that matters most — read it before shipping. The volumetric divisor is set by the specific carrier channel, and we quote you the divisor and rate for your channel together.
| Step | How it works | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Weigh on arrival | Each parcel is weighed on arrival and its actual weight recorded | This is one of the two numbers you are charged on |
| 2. Compute volumetric weight | Length × width × height converted to volumetric weight, using the divisor for your carrier channel | Light but bulky goods — down jackets, bedding, inflatable items — often weigh more by volume than by actual weight |
| 3. Charge on the larger of the two | The billed weight is whichever is larger: actual or volumetric | This is exactly why consolidation saves money: pack together first, then compress, so volume comes down |
| 4. Reweigh after consolidation | After several items are packed into one box, it is reweighed and charged on the larger of box weight and box volume | A consolidated box usually occupies far less volume than the same items shipped separately |
What consolidation includes
From the parcel landing in the warehouse to your door, every leg runs through one system, so there is always someone to ask.
What cannot be shipped, or needs checking first
Batteries, liquids, powders and pastes are channel-sensitive: whether they can move and how they must be packed depends on the destination and channel. Ask before sending — do not find out after it is returned.
- Battery-containing goods: power banks, lithium batteries, power tools — channel dependent; some destinations go by sea or need extra packing
- Liquids: perfume, serums, oils, large wash bottles — per-item volume limits apply and leak-proof packing is required
- Powders and pastes: bulk powder, creams, mascara — heavily restricted, please ask first
- Flammables, aerosols, blades, live plants and animals, tobacco and alcohol — generally prohibited
- Uncertain items: send the product link or name to the advisor and confirm before ordering
